The company has added new gestures, including one-finger scrolling.
Microsoft has released a new Windows 11 build for the experimental channel, version 26300.8376. It introduces several new features, the most important of which is enhanced touchpad customization.
New gestures, including one-finger scrolling, have been added to Windows Settings. The full list of new features is as follows:
- Automatic scrolling at edge — when your fingers reach the edge of the touchpad, the page will scroll automatically.
- Automatic scrolling with pressure — a similar feature, but automatic scrolling will only work with firm pressure. This option requires compatible touchpads with haptic feedback.
- Accelerated scrolling is achieved by quickly repeating the corresponding gesture, which is useful when viewing large documents or web pages.
- Vertical scrolling with one finger from the left or right edge of the touchpad. The preferred side can be customized.
